New Year, New Content

Long time, no write! I know I have told myself (and you all) more than once that I am going to be more consistent with posting. This time, I mean it and feeling more dedicated than ever. There will be some changes to the website theme and content of posts, but it will all be changes for the better than will be easier to navigate and overall more useful to my viewers. My goal for this year is to post more unique, factual content that is both eye-opening and resourceful in the realm of mental health.

Other New Year resolutions of mine include:

  • Going to the gym at least 3 times a week.
  • Signing up for kickboxing classes.
  • Reading for 30 minutes before bed (as mentioned before, I love self-help books).
  • Drinking more water and moisturizing daily.

Long story short, my resolutions are all about self-care. What are your resolutions?

What really motivated me to keep writing and exploring the world of blogging is the book Girl, Wash Your Face. Maybe you’ve read it, or maybe you’re reading it right now! I plan on posting a review of it shortly, but the moral of her story is to follow what you believe in your gut is your “purpose.” She emphasizes ‘God given abilities’ several times, and although I am not a very religious person myself, I am convinced by the statements she makes that are worded powerfully in my opinion. Check it out if you have the chance!

Cheers to a new year with new goals and new ambitions. I hope you all find it within yourselves to take care of your own mental health first and foremost. I look forward to posting new material shortly!
